Description

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya in Mumbai, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum, is one of the best museums in India. Designed by the well-known British architect George Wittet in the characteristic Indo-Saracenic style, this lofty edifice houses a rich collection of artifacts and antiquities ranging from pre-historic tools to modern paintings. The walk will include a visit to the main galleries of the museum with the leader telling us about the artifacts on display.
